Audi has revealed it will make a special edition TT called the S-Line Competition.
As the name implies, the recipe is quite simple; take the ordinary TT and transform it into something with more sporting pedigree and -appeal.
The TT S-Line Competition comes with a 172 kW 2.0-litre TFSI motor, a stiffer spring and damper setting, and a whole host of sporty, high-gloss black, accents across the car. These include the front lip, rear diffuser, wing mirrors, a fixed rear wing, and black chrome exhaust tips.
Along with the stiffer ride, the S-Line Competition has also been lowered by 10 mm, and now sits on 19” blade rims, which are wrapped in 245/35 tyres.
The TT also comes with the customisable driver mode setup, which allows the driver to modify the car characteristics in the Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency and Individual modes.
The sporty theme is carried through inside, with the aggressive S-Sport seats, accompanied by hints of black Nappa leather and Alcantara across the cabin, which is offset by grey stitching.
This special edition TT will be available from the end of 2016. It’ll come in 2 variants; a 6-speed manual or S-Tronic FWD, or as a 6-speed S-Tronic Quattro.
